Retail shopfronts are always a challenge with designers requiring large expanses of clear site into retail spaces and minimal disruption to view. Couple those requirements with high levels of security (and general safety for shoppers and staff) and you have quite a complex equation. Of course, buyers have to be able to enter the premises so doorways have to also be factored in.

For this project in Sydney's Bondi Junction, we recommended 19mm clear toughened glass for the general shopfront (approx 4500mm high) and 15mm clear toughened glass doors (3000mm high). A 15mm clear toughened glass hilite was also used above the doors. For more information contact us here.
